To set a motivational wallpaper on iPhone, save the image to Photos, then open Settings, tap Wallpaper, tap Add New Wallpaper, choose Photos, select the image, tap Add, and choose Set as Wallpaper Pair (or customise the Home Screen separately). You can also touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap the plus button, and pick Photos.
Step 1: Save the wallpaper to Photos
On this site, open any wallpaper page, for example the motivational wallpapers for iPhone, and tap Download. In Safari, choose View, then touch and hold the image and tap Save to Photos. (If you choose Download instead, the image goes to the Files app; open it there and use the Share button to save it to Photos.)
Step 2: Set it as your Lock Screen
- Open Settings and tap Wallpaper.
- Tap Add New Wallpaper, then Photos.
- Select the wallpaper. Pinch to adjust it if needed.
- Tap Add, then Set as Wallpaper Pair to use it on both screens, or Customize Home Screen to choose something calmer behind your apps.
Shortcut: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap the + button, choose Photos, and follow the same steps.
Tips so the quote stays readable
- Keep the quote in the middle third. The clock covers the top and the flashlight and camera buttons sit at the bottom. The wallpapers on this site are designed with that safe zone.
- Turn off Depth Effect if the clock overlaps the text strangely.
- Blur the Home Screen. In the Home Screen options, choose Blur so your apps sit on a soft background and the quote stays the hero of the Lock Screen.
- Link it to a Focus. You can link a Lock Screen to a Focus mode, so a training wallpaper appears with your Fitness focus and a work one with your Work focus.
Make your own motivational wallpaper
If none of the downloads say exactly what you need, write your own line. FURY's wallpaper editor lets you pick a background, write your words on it, and save it to Photos, ready to set with the steps above.
Want it to change by itself?
A wallpaper stays the same until you change it. If you want a new line every hour, add a quote widget to your Lock Screen on top of your wallpaper.

FAQ
How do I save a wallpaper from a website to my iPhone?
Open the image in Safari, touch and hold it, and tap Save to Photos. Then set it from Settings, Wallpaper, Add New Wallpaper, Photos.
What size should an iPhone wallpaper be?
A tall image close to your screen resolution looks best. Our phone wallpapers are 1290 by 2796 pixels, the size of the largest current iPhones, so they look sharp on every model.
Can I have different wallpapers for the Lock Screen and Home Screen?
Yes. After adding a Lock Screen wallpaper, tap Customize Home Screen and pick a different photo, a colour or a blurred version.
